Short CV:

Petros Belsis was born in Athens, Greece. He holds a B.Sc. degree in Physics, from National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Department of Physics, and a B.Sc. degree in computer science from Technological Education Institute of Athens, Department of computer science. He also holds a M.Sc. in Information Systems from the Department of Informatics, Athens University of Economics and Business, Greece and a Phd in Information and Communication Systems Engineering from the Department of Information and Communication Systems Engineering, School of Sciences, University of the Aegean, Greece.

He has participated in several international and national projects, relative to Information Systems Security, Security schemes for coalitions of autonomous systems, Knowledge Management, Cross Lingual Content Based Information Retrieval, etc.

Dr. Belsis serves since 2010 at the Editorial Board of Wiley’s Security and Communication Networks journal. He has also served on several Program Committees for several international conferences such as the International Conference on Pervasive Technologies Related to Assistive Environments (PETRA) (2008 and on), Workshop on Security and Privacy on Pervasive e-Health and Assistive Environments (PSPAE), Information Resources Management Association International Conference (IRMA, 2006-2007) etc.
